Christ Apostolic Church Good Women Association (CACGWA) is one of the three major units of the Church where membership is exclusively adult females. It was founded in the year 1960, during the church\u2019s national convention held in Ile-Ife.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The foundation leaders were, D.T. Ajayi from Ijebu, S. Johnson, V.A. Oshun (both from Lagos). Brown from Agege, Odewumi from Ebute-Meta, Martha Rotimi, the mother of Joseph Ayo Babalola from Odo-Owa.\u00a0<\/p>

The present executives of CACGWA are:<\/p>

    At present, the good women national conference is zoned into three sections of the nation.<\/p>

    1. Babalola International Memorial Ground, Ikeji Arakeji section for Benin Republic, the South-West and South-South states in Nigeria<\/li>
    2. Abuja section for the Northern states in NIgeria<\/li>
    3. Port Harcourt section for some South-Suth and South-East states<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Some of the functions of the good women association are to teach her members useful practical house chores, mentor the young females, fund the education of female children, and philanthropic works within the nation and abroad as well as teach their members how to assist their husbands in the church ministry.\u00a0<\/p>

      Examples of schools founded by the association are: The Babalola Memorial Girls Grammar School Ilesa, established in honor of Joseph Ayo Babalola in 1960; the Midwifery College (formerly known as CAC Faith Home) Ede, founded in July 1959 with D.A. Oladiran as the matron. CAC Women Bible College Ede was established by CAC Prophetesses\/ Lady Evangelists Association led by Prophetess Emily Oladoyinbo Jojolola with the active cooperation and support of Prophet Samson Ola Akande (a.k.a. Baba Abiye Ede) in 1986.<\/p>

      In January 1996, the Church authority inaugurated a new executive committee to pave the way for the society\u2019s re-organization. The inauguration was done by the then C.A.C President, Pastor J. D. Obafemi (deceased). The society was finally renamed the \u2018C.A.C Good Women Association.\u2019<\/p>

      The good women association is organised from local assembly level up to the national level. They have choral groups, welfare units, and prayer bands at the same levels. The association organises programmes at the local levels where they are taught about their spiritual, financial, and family responsibilities from time to time; health programmes where elementary medical issues are also handled from time to time by medical personnel.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      We work to welcome those who are new to the church while growing the found to maturity with the goal of reaching the lost for Christ and subsequently honouring Jesus Christ through worship and prayer and developing an effective prayer life thus obedience to His words.\u00a0As brothers in Christ, it is a vital part of our goals to help each other in our effort towards becoming spiritually uplifted individuals in our homes, neighbourhoods and society; using Christ as our model.<\/p>

      We believe that it is a blessing; to know Him and to have Him in our lives and by His grace we will achieve yet another goal, of becoming a blessing unto others in our communities resulting in transformation of lives and soul winning to His glory<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      The Good Women Association in Ketu Assembly came into existence in 1988.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      The authority of the church grouped women for prayers and special programmes. Pastor Olasehinde who was the Assembly Pastor at that time directed Mrs. Efunkoya (Iya Ijebu) to lead the women. In 1989, the Good Women Association came into full operation.<\/p>

      Mrs Efunkoya became the first leader of the association. Since then, the association have been having leaders who have progressively taken up responsibilities at the Assembly, District and Districts Co-ordinating Council levels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Those who have coordinated the association after Mrs. R.\u00a0 Efunkoya are Deaconess F. F. Olabinjo, Deaconess Ibukun Felix, Deaconess E. M.       • Purchase of the first Good Women 14-seater Bus in the year 2000<\/li>
      • Purchase of the 14-seater Bus in the year 2013 with the support of the Board of Elders.<\/li>
      • Good Women School project at Omusoko, Ogun State where God-fearing children will be raised for our society. The programme was initiated by Good Women and it was taken over by the Board of Elders. The project is progressing.<\/li><\/ul>

        The Good Women of this Church have produced many women of God (Evangelists\/Prophetess) and they are doing well in their respective assemblies.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

          The Good Women Association has since been impacting positively the growth of the Church at the National, Regional, DCC, District and Assembly levels.           The general cleanliness, decoration and beautification of the Church ambience is being handled by Good Women.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

          The cleaning takes place every Saturday, while routine cleaning exercises also take place immediately after the One Hour with God programme every Tuesday.
