The Faith Home was established on the 23rd<\/sup> of June 1986 under the leadership of Mrs. D. O. Alao as its first Midwife. The programme was flagged off with five pregnant women in attendance and the first service was conducted by Mrs. D. O. Alao and Late Pastor Odunola. The first midwife, Mrs. D. O. Alao, worked from 1986 June to 14th<\/sup> May 2001 before she retired from service due to her family\u2019s relocation to Ibafo, Ogun State.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The second mid-wife, Deaconess C. O. Mellor took over the responsibilities from 14th<\/sup> May 2001 to December 2011. During her tenure, the Church employed two midwives: Mrs. M. A. Osadare and Mrs. E. O. Olupitan and both were later transferred in 2007 to another station. Mrs. H. Okejimi and Miss Adeseko were brought in to replace them.\u00a0<\/p>

Following the retirement of Deaconess C. O. Mellor in December 2011, the baton of leadership of the Faith Home Clinic was handed over to Mrs. R. F. Ibrahim, as the third Head Mid-Mife. Her journey spanned January 2012 to February 2017 with some mid-wives: Mrs. Funmilayo Olawumi and Mrs. Beatrice Oluwafunke Adewale working with her. Subsequently, both were transferred and the Church employed Mrs. Grace Ademakinwa, Mrs. Esther Ashiru, and Mrs. Mary Akintoyemu as their replacements.<\/p>

Mrs. Olupitan became the fourth Head Midwife following her transfer from Owutu District in an acting capacity from March 2017 to May 2017. She assumed the substantive position from 1st<\/sup> June till date.\u00a0 Some midwives, Mrs. Mary Akintoyemu and Mrs. O. T. Michael also worked with her.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In July 2017, the officials of the Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA), an arm of the Lagos State Healthcare authorities, from Alausa came on an official visit to the Faith Home. After the inspection and discussion with the leadership of the Church, they gave some recommendations to the Church. Among the recommendations is the need to employ a Registered Nurse (RN). Hence, Mrs. E O. Adeyemi (RN) was employed as an Operation Officer from 1st <\/sup>September2017 till date.<\/p>

Following the compliance with the directives of the State Government, the Faith Home is now a full maternity home.<\/p>

The Faith Home has also been registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 12th October 2022.
