Bookshop

The bookshop is a venture arm of the church with the following vision:

  • To provide assorted Bibles, Hymn books, Journals, and Literature books to CAC members at affordable price.
  • Encourage reading habits amongst our youths as well as others by providing quality literature books at affordable cost.
  • Be a source of funds for the Church.
  • Make the Bookshop a profitable venture for the Church.

The bookshop committee was inaugurated by the Board of Elders in May 2007 and opened for business on November, 24, 2007.

Items Available in the Bookshop include:

  • Bibles: All types of Bible ranging from children’s Bible to Red-letter to Reference and Teachers’ Bible. Bibles are available in English, Yoruba and combined English/Yoruba Bible.
  • C.A.C. Hymn books: Hymn books are available in English, Yoruba and combined English/Yoruba. Hymns are also available on CD.
  • Literature Books: We stock books by notable foreign and local writers in various languages
  • Audio and Video CDs: We market sermons and Church programmes. We also market for artists of good repute on a percentage cut of total sales.
  • Communion Bread and wine: The C.A.C. wine and bread are available at low cost.
  • Almanacs and Journals: These are also available as supplied by the marketers.

We also sell shelf space (in the form of a percentage cut on sales) to local writers such as our notable Pastors and other writers. Books from these writers are reviewed for content compatibility with our mission doctrine by the Committee before being accepted into the Bookshop.

 

Day to day running of the Bookshop is managed by the committee currently led by Dcns B.O. Tokunboh as the chairperson, other members include:

  1. Elder O.O. Abe
  2. Elder Abiola Odudimu
  3. Dcns O.E. Odusanya
  4. Mrs Titilayo Ajewole.

The Bookshop is open daily expect on Thursday.
